Grade 3 Hair transplant

Rishabh 2300 FUE: This is a very interesting case and you will see such cases being labelled as grade 6 and grade 7 on the internet. No doubt he had a lot of thinning in the entire area from front to crown. But majorly the frontal area was affected including the frontal forelock and the sides then there was a significant thinning in the crown portion as well.

The middle portion was relatively better. His donor hair was pretty good and thick.
You will see such cases and the entire internet is flooded with such cases. It’s shown that 5000 or 6000 grafts are being done and that too by FUE alone or sometimes by combination techniques FUE plus FUT. For this patient, we did 2300 FUE grafts and the grafts were placed in the frontal portion as seen in post-op pictures.

The crown area was not attempted neither the middle portion was done. That means a small number of grafts have been taken out from the donor and the rest of his precious donor is right there at the back of his head in the form of a spare donor area.

The role of medicine also becomes very important as in such cases which are being flashed on the internet you will find invariably all the patients being given 1MG finasteride per day. Now In this patient, we care 5% minoxidil on alternate days, Satya’s hair art kit and 0.5 MG finasteride twice a week. Just look at the wonderful transformation he had. Isn’t it beautiful and mesmerising? When you can get this result with just 2300 grafts and 1MG finasteride per week instead of 5000 to 6,000 grafts and 1MG finasteride per day, would you like to go for it?

This is a common tactic used by clinics across the globe which you should be aware of.

We did not do a single graft in the crown area and still, we can see the crown area getting so nicely covered. You will see a lot of such cases on the internet being flashed day in and out but most of these results are just magic of finasteride 1MG per day. This medicine won’t work in every patient that well but then those patients are not being shown to you. You are only being shown those patients who agreed to take finasteride although all of them were prescribed finasteride 1MG per day. Out of those where finasteride did wonderfully well, only those patients are being shown. What about the rest? You make opinions about the clinic on the basis of results which you cannot be sure about. You cannot say with surety that these are the pure hair transplant results or up to 80% of the contribution is coming through finasteride. In this patient, we gave only 1MG finasteride per week, just imagine what would have happened with 1MG finasteride per day. So choose your clinic carefully and thoughtfully after thorough research.

If the FUE technique cannot give you 4000 or 5000 grafts, that is just a bluff supported well with the wonder drug called finasteride. So think twice be wise and plan your journey with a mentor whom you can trust and who has the skills and intent to help.
