Hair Transplant : Shocking Before and After!

Grade 7 baldness, also known as advanced or severe hair loss, poses significant challenges for hair restoration procedures. This case study presents the long-term follow-up results of a patient with grade 7 baldness who underwent a combination of Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT) and Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) procedures. The patient, a 45-year-old male, presented with grade 7 baldness, characterized by extensive hair loss across the entire scalp. After a thorough consultation and assessment, it was determined that a combination of FUT and FUE procedures would be the most suitable approach for his specific case.

The patient opted not to take Finasteride, an oral medication commonly used to prevent further hair loss and promote hair regrowth. This decision was made after a thorough discussion with the doctor, taking into account potential side effects and the patient's personal preference.
